Una preguntilla sobre términos de estadística.

Que significa en el pitcher:
IP
BB
SO
Sv
P/GS
WHIP
BAA

En los outfielders e infielders:
AB
SB
BA
OBP
SLG
OPS

Otra cosa, cuando un bateador sale avanzado el partido, a veces le sale una estadística de lo que ha hecho a lo laro del partido, a veces sale una K, ¿qué es esa K?

Hace tiempo encontré una página donde decía todos los términos, pero no la guardé y ya ni me acuerdo de ellos.

Que significa en el pitcher:
IP -> Innings pitcheados = entradas lanzadas
BB -> Bases on Balls (Walks)
SO -> Strikeouts
Sv -> Saves, partidos en el que el lanza alguna/s de las ultimas entradas y que consigue que su equipo continue por delante en el marcador.
P/GS -> Pelotas que lanza por partido comenzado
WHIP -> Walks + Hits / entradas lanzadas
BAA -> ni idea

En los outfielders e infielders:
AB -> veces que se han colocado al bate
SB -> bases robadas
BA -> no se
OBP -> % de veces que se ha colocado en base
SLG -> no se
OPS -> tampoco

Otra cosa, cuando un bateador sale avanzado el partido, a veces le sale una estadística de lo que ha hecho a lo laro del partido, a veces sale una K, ¿qué es esa K? -> Strikeout, eliminado tras un lanzamiento en el cual no le da a la bola o no suelta el bate cuando la bola va dentro de la caja K, para ser strikeout debe llevar 2 strikes anteriormente, y al tercero es el strikeout. K es la abreviacion que le dan los yankees.

Tengo una dudilla.
Imaginemos que estamos atacando y tenemos un corredor en la primera, y que tenemos 1 out y estamos 0 balls 0 strikes.
Bateamos.
El corredor quiere robar una base. Se pone a correr y el catcher atento envia la bola a la segunda después del pitcheo. Lo que yo tengo visto es que el corredor roba o no dependiendo de si llega a la segunda a tiempo o no, todo esto después de que ese pitcheo haya acabado en ball, strike o el bateador le haya dado bien.
Ahora bien, que pasa si en vez de acabar de esa forma, ocurre un foul ball y la bola se va a tomar viento. ¿El corredor roba la base; no vale y se queda en la primera?
De la misma forma si ocurre un flyed.

Yo me imagino que el fulano tendrá que volver a primera base haya robado o no.

PD: espero que se me haya entendido.

Si es foul vuelve a primera base.
Si es un fly out, y ya estaba corriendo, tiene que volverse exando lexes a primera base, pq si la bola llega antes a primera base que el corredor será out.
Otra opción es un fly out largo. El corredor está en su base. En el momento en el que el jugador de campo del equipo que defiende coge la bola, el corredor puede salir corriendo a la siguiente base, si llega antes que la bola también será valido...pero sólo puede empezar a correr cuando le haya llegado la bola al defensa. Esto último se suele hacer cuando el corredor está en 3ª, y hay un fly out largo, para llegar a la base final.

Betting on baseball can be extremely profitable as there is tremendous line value. In baseball games, on any given night, the best team can lose to the worst team with a greater frequency than any other sport.
Here's how I approach things:
1. Look for profitable situations. In baseball there are certain situations which provide the bettor an advantage. Sometimes the stats line up the right way in which you get a team that has enough of an advantage in nearly every important category. Other times, you can catch a team in the right situation (better teams going for the sweep, fading very poor road teams after a road win, etc).
2. Pay special attention to the bullpens. In today's age when most starters don't last much past the sixth inning, bullpens become the most important factor in baseball betting. The lines on baseball games are mostly established by the starting pitchers, but the bullpens pitch a third of the games. Look to bet against an overworked bullpen and to play on teams with solid and rested pens.
3. Focus on the right stats. Baseball can be a game of statistics and it can be very confusing. The stats that matter most to us are: team won/loss record with starting pitcher, starting pitchers WHIP (walks + hits divided by innings pitched), team batting average verse right and left-handed pitchers, day/night statistics and bullpen earned run average.
4. Avoid games that the Public is on. Vegas is in business because it makes money off losers. Which side would you rather be on, the minority (with the bookmakers) or with Joe Public of which 90% lose over the test of time? The Yankees in particular lay more wood than they should nearly every game.
5. Shop the lines. There are wide price variations on games, and over the course of a season, getting the best possible lines will save, and or make you significant money. Playing baseball on a 10-cent line is a must. Each book will have different lines because they are trying to balance their action evenly. You have to take advantage of this if you serious about making money on baseball.
7. Check out the parlays. Playing 2-team parlays in baseball can be beneficial to reduce the high juice of favorites. Avoid playing 3-team or more parlays as the books cut increases significantly. This is the only time that I recommend parlays, and I highly recommend only experienced baseball bettors use parlays.
In Baseball, as in Life, Patience is a Virtue
The bottom line in baseball is that information and patience pay off. For the patient informed better, gambling on America’s pastime can pay off higher than playing any other sport. Make sure you have take a long-term view (don't get too upset if you have a losing day and don't get too excited if you have a winning day). Manage your bank properly.

Yo tengo una pregunta un poco urgente. A ver si hay suerte.

Hay un partido de béisbol hoy, con hándicap, y me gustaría hacer un trading para mover dinero, pero no sé cómo va el hándicap en béisbol. ¿Es igual que en fútbol?

Si hago las dos apuestas, ¿están todos los resultados posibles cubiertos, o podría fallar las dos apuestas?
